Aleix Gimeno is awarded with a CSA Trust Grant 2015
Aleix Gimeno, PhD student of the Cheminformatics and Nutrition group, has been awarded with a CSA Trust Grant 2015. His award was used to attend the Cresset European User Group Meeting hosted in Cambridge, UK, on 18th-19th June 2015. The Chemical Structure Association Trust (CSA Trust) is an internationally recognized, registered charity which promotes education, research and development in the field of storage, processing and retrieval of information about chemical structures, reactions and compounds. The CSA Trust Grant was created to provide funding for the career development of young researchers who have demonstrated excellence in their education, research or development activities that are related to the systems and methods used to store, process and retrieve information about chemical structures, reactions and compounds. Grants are awarded for specific purposes, and within one year each grantee is required to submit a brief written report detailing how the grant funds were allocated. Maria José Ojeda in 2014 and Laura Guasch in 2009 are members of our group that also received a CSA Trust Grant in previous years.
